US Sends Ceasefire Proposal
US Special Envoy Steven Witkoff reportedly delivered the proposal to Hamas Sunday. The deal promises US support to end Israel’s military operations in exchange for immediate release of all hostages. Israel would release up to 3,000 Palestinian prisoners in return.
Hostages Remain and Pressure Builds
Gaza holds 48 hostages, though only about 20 remain alive. Trump previously issued a similar ultimatum in March. His latest warning raises public pressure on Hamas to respond to a deal that Washington claims could finally end the conflict.
