Abdullah Othman, Gaddafi’s political adviser, acknowledged his death in a brief Facebook post, without providing information on who was responsible. Gaddafi’s French lawyer, Marcel Ceccaldi, told AFP that the assailants’ identities remain unknown, noting that concerns about Saif al-Islam’s security had been raised by a close associate roughly ten days ago.
